What it's about
Eighteen new creatures. All with too many tentacles.
Horrible Tentacles is the first official mini-expansion for Deep Regrets, brought to Italy by MS Edizioni in its fully localized edition. Designed, like the base game, by Judson Cowan — author, illustrator, and voice of Tettix Games — it brings 18 new Fish cards to the box, which blend directly into the abyss's shoals.
The 18 new creatures have one thing in common: a worrying number of tentacles. And among them, everyone's favorite Great Old One makes its entrance — the card that changes the face of a game the moment you flip it. The illustrations are in the same hand-drawn ink style as the base game, with the same ironic and disturbing writing that made the original title unique.
It mixes with the base game's fishing shoals without changing the rules. Compatible with the solo ichthyologist campaign — because someone has to catalog these things too. And it will be worse than it seems.
The expansion's secret in one line
It doesn't add rules, it adds nightmares. Eighteen new shadows on the back of the cards — and none of them are just fish.
