A bottle that grants wishes, but condemns its owner at the end of the game. The Bottle Imp is a strategic and original card game inspired by Robert Louis Stevenson's short story of the same name, where every hand is a dangerous dance between greed and cunning.
In this trick-taking game for 2-6 players, cards 1 to 37 represent values in three colors, with an ingenious mechanic: only cards lower than the price of the bottle can beat others. But beware: whoever wins a hand with a card "too low" also takes the bottle... and risks ending the game with negative points!

🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. Wishes have a price. And so do points.
The Bottle Imp challenges you to desire... wisely. It's a trick-taking game inspired by Stevenson's tale, where you can win with cunning, but also lose everything to a cursed bottle. Each hand is a balance of risk and opportunism, because whoever holds the bottle at the end... loses the points.
2. A bottle that always sells for less.
Every card has value, but also a risk: if you play a card lower than the price of the bottle , you take it. And the price of the bottle changes every turn! This mechanic creates a psychological loop that drives even experienced players crazy: you want to win the hand... but not too soon.
3. Don't end up with the bottle in your hand.
During the game, you may also want the bottle—it allows you to win tricks, draw strong cards, or change the outcome of a hand. But it's an elegant curse : if you don't get rid of it before the end... all your efforts are wasted. Only those who can master it (and then get rid of it!) can win.
4. Now also in 5-6 player and team mode.
This new, updated edition includes variants for 5-6 players and a team mode, making the game even more interesting and strategic. The new foil-effect cards and artwork by Maxime Morin make this version visually captivating, perfect for expert tables as well as sophisticated party games.
