The FroGames card
Read the card aloud. Everyone looks at one person. That person tries to defend themselves. Too late: the card is theirs. And in five minutes, it will happen again.
WHAT IT IS ABOUT
The party game that turns secrets into points
Is That a Red Flag? (originally Raise Your Red Flag: Original edition) is a party game by Fried Potatoes Games that focuses on the most embarrassing social dynamics. 120 statement cards and a simple voting system: discover who in your group best matches each red flag.
Each round someone reads a statement like "Does he think he's a social media influencer?". Everyone votes simultaneously by pointing to a player. The one who receives the most votes takes the card as a shame ticket. The first to collect 10 wins the title of Red Flag Winner. Debates, embarrassing stories, and guaranteed laughter.
What they say abroad
"With 120 hilarious red flag cards, you debate, vote, tell stories and call each other out."

— Fried Potatoes Games
This is a party game that has just arrived in Italy: zero verifiable reviews, all to be discovered. The social voting mechanic and the crazy number of players (up to 20!) bode well for chaotic evenings. The card will be updated when we have played more games.

How to play
The flow of each round
A round lasts 2 minutes. Then it starts again until someone reaches 10 tickets.
The current player draws a Red Flag card and reads it aloud. Everyone listens.
Everyone counts to three and simultaneously points to the player they think best matches the statement.
Whoever receives the most votes takes the card as a ticket. In case of a tie, only those tied vote again.
The next player clockwise becomes the new reader. Repeat until someone collects 10 tickets and wins.

A game in five moments
What happens at the table
Not the rules. The experience.
The first round is harmless
Someone reads the first card, like "Checks their phone too often?". Everyone laughs and votes. One person gets the first ticket. No one has been offended yet.
The cards get personal
"Talks too much about their exes?" Silence. Then someone points at you. The others nod. You try to defend yourself but the voting is already closed. The table laughs.
Stories begin
It's no longer enough to just vote: each card triggers an anecdote. "Remember that time..." The game slows down, but the laughter increases. Someone keeps track of the tickets, others have forgotten who is winning.
The card that breaks the table
"Thinks they are always right?" Two people receive equal votes. A heated debate ensues. Evidence, counter-evidence, testimonies. In the end, they vote again. Someone threatens to leave the WhatsApp group.
The winner is not happy
Someone reaches 10 tickets and wins. Ironic applause. The winner tries to explain that it's not true, that the cards lie. But the verdict is already written. Someone immediately proposes a rematch.

Things to know beforehand
Three things to consider
Only works with the right chemistry
If the group doesn't know or trust each other, voting becomes random and the game loses its edge. A minimum of complicity is needed for it to truly work.
Someone will get offended (maybe)
Red flags can touch sensitive nerves. If there's someone in the group who can't handle teasing or uncomfortable truths, it's better to choose another game for that evening.
With fewer players, it's less explosive
With 2-3 players, voting is predictable and repetitive. The game is best with 5 or more players, where the dynamics become more complex and votes are spread out.
🏆Victory and defeatWhat the ending rewards▼
How it ends
How to win and how to lose
There are no official losers, but everyone will know who collected the most shames.
Victory
- Collect 10 Red Flag tickets first
- Become the official Red Flag Winner
- Everyone knows your red flags by name
Elimination
- There is no elimination: you play until the end
- Whoever has fewer tickets can boast of being "clean"
- But no one truly wins in this game
Is It A Red Flag? is not a game about strategy. It's a game about how well you know the people you play with, and how well they know you. And it's not always comforting.

FAQ about Is It A Red Flag? (Raise Your Red Flag: Original edition)
Is it really playable with up to 20 people?
Yes, technically you can play with any number. Beyond 10 people, turns get quite long and the game becomes more of an icebreaker than a real game. But for large parties, it works.
Do you need to know each other to play?
It depends. As a pure icebreaker, it can work with strangers, but voting will be random. The game works best when the group already has some shared stories to bring out.
Is it a family game or is it too awkward?
The Original edition is designed to be playable by families (14+), without explicit content. But some statements can still touch on sensitive topics. Know your audience.
What mechanics does Is It A Red Flag? use?
Simultaneous majority voting, social deduction (or rather, social knowledge), set collection (the tickets). It's a pure party game: zero strategy, all interaction and awkward laughter.
Is it available in Italian?
The edition sold on FroGames is in Italian, localized by Asmodee Italia with the title "È Una Red Flag?". All 120 cards are translated.
