The FroGames Card
Your tableau fills with bullets. You have three actions to form a pattern, clear space, and send everything back to your opponent. She does the same. Someone chokes before the end of the round.
WHAT IT'S ABOUT
Four heroines from Japanese shoot-em-ups enter the tabletop bullet hell
Bullet: Orange+ brings four iconic characters from the Orange Juice franchise to the table: Sora, Flying Red Barrel, SUGURI, and QP-shooting. Designed by Joshua Van Laningham and illustrated by Collateral Damage Studios and Usanekorin, it is the first official tabletop appearance of these video game heroines in the Bullet system.
Each player chooses a heroine with unique abilities. Each round you receive bullets in your tableau, use three actions to form patterns from the cards in your hand, clear space, and send bullets to opponents. Whoever fails to manage the flow loses. Each heroine can become a cooperative boss to be faced solo or in a group.

— Level 99 Games
Newly released expansion. Few BGG data, but the Bullet series has a solid solo mode and the pattern-matching mechanics remain intact. Card will be updated when we have more feedback.

Bullet: Orange+
Official Score Attack and Boss Modes. Each heroine can become a boss to be faced solo with dedicated mechanics. The experience is complete but loses the direct interaction of multiplayer dueling.
The Orange+ heroines
Four new fighting styles from the Orange Juice franchise
Sora
From the eponymous title, she brings the system of combined chains that create cascade reactions between patterns.
Flying Red Barrel
Power-ups that modify hand cards, making every turn unpredictable.
SUGURI
Pure speed: she manages bullets with quick patterns and lightning-fast assaults.
QP-shooting
Uses playing card mechanics: draw, discard, manipulate your hand in ways no other heroine can.

🎲How to PlayThe rules in four steps▼
How to Play
The Flow of Each Round
Simultaneous, three actions, then a barrage of bullets. Each round is identical in structure, different in chaos.
Draw bullets from the bag (or from your opponent's attack). They enter from the bottom of your tableau, filling slots.
Play pattern cards from your hand. Each pattern matches specific shapes/colors: if the match is valid, you clear those bullets from your tableau.
Cleared bullets become an attack: you send them to an opponent (or discard them if playing solo). The more you clear, the more pressure you exert.
If your tableau is full and you can't form patterns, you lose. Otherwise, repeat. Your heroine's unique abilities modify these phases.
⏱️Your First GameThe chronicle, moment by moment▼
A game in five moments
What happens at the table
Not the rules. The experience.
Quick Setup
Choose your heroine, take her pattern cards, place the board. In 2 minutes you're ready to fight. New players ask once how patterns work, then the music starts.
First Round, First Bullets
Bullets enter from the bottom of your tableau. You have three actions. You play a pattern card, match shapes and colors, clear space. Seems manageable. For now.
The Tableau Fills Up
Three rounds later, you receive more bullets than you clear. The heroine's special abilities start to make a difference. Those who know their deck well gain time, those who hesitate suffocate.
Someone Suffocates or Attacks
A player can no longer form valid patterns. Their tableau overflows. Or someone clears enough bullets to send a barrage to the others. Maximum tension.
Victory by Suffocation
Whoever runs out of space loses. The winner calmly clears the last bullets while the others watch their exploded tableau. Game closed in 15 minutes, someone immediately asks for a rematch.
🐸What to Know BeforehandThree honest things, from friends▼
What to Know Beforehand
Three Honest Warnings
This is an expansion. It does not include the bullets (wooden cubes) or the basic rules. You must own Bullet♥ or Bullet★ to play. It is not a standalone product.
Orange+ has 30 total votes (8.79 rating). Too early for consolidated judgments. The Bullet series has good reviews, but this specific iteration has just been released. Expect board updates.
Everyone plays simultaneously, the pace is fast. Those who suffer from time pressure or prefer calm turns might not enjoy it. It's not a reflective puzzle, it's a frantic duel.
🏆Victory and DefeatWhat the ending rewards▼
How it Ends
How to win and how to lose
Only one condition for victory and defeat. No points, no external countdown. The one who resists the flow wins.
Victory
- Opponent elimination: you are the last heroine with space in your tableau
- Boss mode: reduce the boss's hit points to zero before their tableau suffocates you
- Score Attack (solo): accumulate as many points as possible by clearing bullets and forming complex patterns
Defeat
- Full tableau: you no longer have free slots and cannot play valid patterns
- Boss mode: the boss fills your tableau and you cannot clear space to continue
- Pattern error: you attempt an invalid pattern when the tableau is critical (optional variant)
An expansion that brings fresh mechanics (chains, powerups, cannons, manipulated cards) into a well-established system. For Bullet collectors and fans of Orange Juice shoot-'em-ups.

Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ on Bullet: Orange+
Can I play Bullet: Orange+ without other Bullet games?
No. Orange+ is an expansion that adds 4 heroines. You need Bullet♥ (Heart) or Bullet★ (Star) as the base game: they provide the bullets (wooden cubes), the complete rules, and the game system. Orange+ only contains heroine boards, pattern cards, and specific materials for the 4 new characters.
What is the difference between Orange and Orange+?
Orange+ (BGG ID 435541, year 2025) appears to be an updated iteration of the previous Bullet: Orange expansion (BGG ID 334649, released 2021). BGG data for Orange+ is limited (30 votes), so there are no definite details on content differences. It could be the same 4 Orange Juice heroines with revised components or additional material. We recommend checking with the publisher Level 99 Games.
Are Orange+ heroines harder or easier than others?
Some comments on BGG suggest that the Orange heroines are more beginner-friendly compared to other Bullet expansions. But with few votes specifically for Orange+, it's too early to judge. The mechanics (chains, powerups, cannons, playing cards) seem to introduce new tactical twists without increasing the complexity of the base rules.
What mechanics does Bullet: Orange+ use?
Simultaneous action selection real-time system: everyone performs actions at the same time. Core mechanics: pattern matching (match hand cards with bullets in the tableau to clear them), resource management (three actions per round), direct attack (cleared bullets go to opponents). Each heroine has asymmetric abilities that modify these rules. Cooperative boss mode.
Is it available in Italian?
No. The edition for sale on FroGames is in English. The game is almost language-independent: pattern cards are iconic (shapes and colors), heroine abilities require initial reading but are then memorized. You need to know English for the heroine boards and boss cards. No Italian editions have been announced by Level 99 Games or other publishers.
The people behind the game
